Jo-Anne Kempe - President
As the founder and president of Windmill Software Inc., Jo-Anne has devoted herself to the development and practical implementation of maintenance management software and consulting services for senior living communities. She has applied her expertise in business process analysis and system design to the operational needs of senior living facilities and created an easy-to-use tool for tracking and measuring maintenance results, managing risk, and reducing costs. With a passion for practicality and a talent for streamlining operations, Jo-Anne focuses on aligning maintenance management functions with key business performance objectives. Jo-Anne has personally implemented hundreds of systems and trained thousands of maintenance staff, managers, and executives to help them realize the benefits of automated, well-implemented maintenance management software.
In addition to guiding Windmill Software to success, Jo-Anne has worked with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) in Kenya and Zimbabwe. She has served as Canada's ambassador to the International Association for Homes and Services for the Aging (IAHSA), where she is also a member of the awards selection committee. Jo-Anne was formerly on the board of the Women Entrepreneurs of Canada and currently serves on the board of the Information Technology Association of Canada. When she's not at Windmill Software or visiting clients, Jo-Anne likes to hike, travel to historic locations, garden, and cook.
Josh Malbogat - Account Executive
Josh works with executives, managers, front-line staff, and residents in senior living communities to identify how PM Worx maintenance management software can improve productivity, reduce costs, control risk, achieve compliance, and put quality first. His extensive experience of the maintenance management challenges retirement residences face throughout the US and Canada means that he is recognized as a subject matter expert and valued for his insight. Josh has been responsible for the implementation of PM Worx in over 150 senior living organizations and regularly speaks at regional, national, and international conferences about the importance of aligning maintenance management with the strategic goals of senior living communities.
Josh's speaking engagements include: the International Association for Homes and Services for the Aging (IAHSA) and The American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA), both nationally and regionally in Arizona, Florida, Ohio, Northern New England, and Connecticut. He has also spoken in Canada at events hosted by the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA), the Ontario Association for Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors (OANHSS) and the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA). Josh graduated from McGill University with a double major in International Development & History. He's traveled extensively throughout North and South America, Europe, and South Africa, is a voracious reader and a keen cyclist.
Kyle Adamo - Product Manager
Kyle has been instrumental in shaping PM Worx to meet the needs of senior living communities. Attentive to feedback, he is constantly developing new modules and technologies to support the everyday reality of his clients. Kyle is the designer behind PM Worx's integrated & user-friendly capital planning module, which transforms asset data into a powerful forecasting tool. He is also the architect of the PM Worx labor management module, which enables accurate job costing and staff resource planning. He is the person we all have to thank for the friendly interface that makes PM Worx so easy to use, prompting many senior living communities to extend PM Worx to resident-input requests. Kyle is the creative and technical genius behind the uniquely innovative and practical Mobile Worx, which stands apart from other handheld devices with a sharp interface design that makes optimum use of the screen, and takes PM Worx to every corner of a senior living community campus.
Kyle believes that PM Worx is not only powerful maintenance management software, but also an invaluable marketing tool for Retirement Residences to communicate the benefits of their communities and clearly demonstrate that they put quality first.
Kyle was born and raised in North Bay, Ontario, and has worked as a fishing guide in the remote northern regions of the province. Majoring in Marketing, he graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honors degree, Bachelor of Commerce.
